The health and well-being of our customers, partner, and employees at Mercedes-Benz Saguenay will always be our top priority. As the world continues to respond to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), clear and transparent information is vital, and we want to provide you with an update on the proactive measures we have taken to minimize health hazards in accordance with public health recommendations and guidelines. Mercedes-Benz Saguenay continues to closely monitor developments regarding the coronavirus, including regular updates from the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) and municipal public health agencies. We also maintain close contact with our colleagues at Mercedes-Benz USA and Daimler AG and follow health agency updates including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Control and disease prevention (CDC).

Mercedes-Benz Canada is committed to maintaining the excellence of its global customer experience in these difficult times while respecting all public health recommendations.

In our subsidiary, we have:
• Introduced the recommended social distancing measures, therefore minimizing physical contact (no handshakes, etc.) and maintaining, as best, a distance of at least one meter between individuals
• Significantly increased disinfection and cleaning efforts
• Provision of additional hand disinfection stations

We understand how difficult situations like this can be for everyone involved, especially our retail employees. This is why, in addition to the restrictions regarding travel and self-isolation protocols that are already in place we have also engaged our full support to find flexible options to meet these unique circumstances, including understanding the child care needs that our employee-parents might have due to the upcoming closure of public elementary and secondary schools across the province.
